Debi Fitzgerald has facilitated many workshops for groups presenting “The Healing Journey”, both as a lecturer and journalist.

 

 

The Healing Journey

 

  The Healing Journey  is one of the most important bodies of work that Debi has created in t he 30 years of her art Career. Debi created 12 large 4’x 6’ canvases depicting the grieving stages after the experience of losses. These originals have been musically orchestrated to help assist  the highs and lows of the journey through each stage of the grieving process.

The originals had such an emotional impact on the public that the exhibit was held over and moved to a more private setting  at it’s first  unveiling in Gallery On the Lake, Buckhorn Ontario in  2002.

The requests for this exhibit have been numerous by several different groups who help others such as Palliatinve Care, Hospice, Survivors of Suicide, women’s shelters , wellness clinics and so many more. When it is free to travel it will be determined where it will  do it’s highest good

 

* The story of all the events leading to the creation of The Healing Journey, the course of events that followed it and the path it has taken since 2002 will be written as a follow up book once the story has unfolded.!
